Jurgen Klopp, who left Liverpool in 2024, has suggested that returning someday remains something that could happen. Klopp, after a transformative nine-season tenure which brought a European Cup triumph and ending the club's long wait in 30 years, currently occupies positions as head of global soccer for Red Bull and providing guidance with the German Football League.

Fan Sentiment and His Frank Comments

They secured England's top flight in the previous campaign, but many fans who revere Klopp would welcome the possibility that he might come back one day. In a wide-ranging interview, he explained to the podcast host: “I declared I will never coach another team within the country. Which implies should it be the Reds...absolutely. In theory, it could happen.”

He shared movingly on the loss of the Portuguese star, a player he signed in 2020, and the effect at the club. Jota lost his life in a car crash with his brother this past summer.

“How do you replace a person like him? It goes beyond the player himself, his personality mattered. I can’t imagine the dressing room missing him. I find it difficult to discuss regarding this. A devastating blow for his teammates also. No one within the club would cite it for poor performances but it is the situation. You walk in a dressing room where his spirit remains. Handling this on a personal level is challenging. Unbearable.”
