Los Angeles witnessed citywide festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a thrilling seven-game World Series championship. Fans across the globe joined Angelenos in jubilation, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a team has achieved consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Draws Massive Crowds
Local celebrations featured a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Online footage show countless of Angelenos flooding downtown streets, many displaying handmade banners and team flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the masses, raising the championship trophy proudly.
