The House Oversight Committee has made public a batch of around 70 photos from the estate of late convicted individual convicted of sex crimes Jeffrey Epstein.

This represents the third such release from a tranche of over 95,000 photos the committee has acquired from Epstein's estate. It contains pictures of passages from the book Lolita inscribed across a woman's body, and censored pictures of female international passports.

This release arrives just hours before the 19 December deadline for the Justice Department to release each documents associated with its probe into Epstein.

"These new images raise additional queries about exactly what the Justice Department has in its possession," stated the senior Democrat of the panel, Robert Garcia.

A number of the images released on this week depict Epstein in discussion with scholar and advocate Noam Chomsky on a personal aircraft; Bill Gates standing beside a individual whose identity is censored; Steve Bannon positioned at a desk opposite Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner gathering.

These are the most recent affluent, powerful figures to be photographed in Epstein's estate images published by the oversight panel - previously published images also show US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as director Woody Allen, previous US Secretary of the Treasury Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and additional individuals.

Appearing in the photos is not proof of any wrongdoing, and a number of the featured men have said they were never implicated in Epstein's illegal activity.

In a announcement accompanying the photo release, Democratic members on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein property holders did not offer explanatory details or dates for the photographs.

"Photos were chosen to provide the general populace with openness into a typical cross-section of the photos acquired from the property, and to give insights into Epstein's associates and his exceptionally troubling behavior," the release states.

The release also contains several images of excerpts from the Vladimir Nabokov literary work Lolita inscribed in black ink across different parts of a woman's body, like her upper body, lower extremity, hip, and back. Lolita narrates the account of a young girl who was groomed by a adult literature professor.

One quote from the book written across a female's chest reads, "Lolita: the end of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the roof of the mouth to land, at three, on the teeth".

There are also a series of photos of women's passports and identification documents from nations globally, such as Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

A large portion of the details on the IDs, like names and dates of birth, is censored but the panel said in a press release that the passports belong to "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were engaging".

A further photo features Epstein positioned at a desk intimately flanked by three individuals whose features have been obscured - one individual has her palm on Epstein's torso under his shirt, and a second is crouching to look at a close-by computer. Epstein appears to be helping the third individual put on a bracelet.

An additional photograph released is a capture of SMS messages from an unknown person who says they have been supplied "several females" and are asking for "$$1,000 per female".

Image Publication Comes Ahead of DOJ Deadline

The committee has many thousands of photos in its possession from the Epstein holdings, which are "simultaneously explicit and mundane," its announcement on Thursday explained.

The oversight panel first legally compelled the property of Epstein, who passed away in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while facing trial on charges of human trafficking, in August.

The photographs and records the Epstein property gave to the panel are different than what is commonly referred to "the Epstein documents". Those are records in the Department of Justice's custody associated with its own inquiry into Epstein.

In accordance with the recently passed law, which the President made law last month, the DOJ has a deadline of 19 December to release its records. The scope of what is contained in the DOJ's records is unknown, and it's expected that a significant portion of the information will be significantly obscured, akin to Congressional releases
